My Bio

Michele Jordan is an award-winning freelance writer who splits her time between Atlanta and Los Angeles. Her work has appeared in Arthritis Today, Upscale, Georgia Trend, and Brides. Michele has an extensive background in translating complex health and medical information into content the average Jane could understand. She enjoys covering communities that might often be overlooked or underrepresented and is known for her human-interest stories. Michele

enjoys giving “life” to hard topics and a voice to quiet, everyday heroes. 

Michele has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and has worked as a writer for more than 25 years, most regularly for WebMD where she writes a monthly blog about living with migraines and asthma and health features on other topics. In her spare time, the laptop stays open – as an emerging playwright and screenwriter. Michele couples her journalism background by bringing both history and current events to life through imaginative

storytelling. Inspired by the millions of untold stories of Black Americans; Michele creates content that is entertaining as much as it is educational.
